After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Melody began her career with children with autism at an international ABA provider. Upon completing her Clinical Psychology training at the University of Hong Kong, Melody started working for a local NGO serving children and adolescents with various special needs, as well as their family members and schools. Growing up in Canada, Melody is familiar with both local and Western cultures and serves both Chinese and English-speaking families.
In addition to being a Clinical Psychologist, Melody is also mom to an active 3-year-old. In her job, she is able to combine her passions as a parent and psychologist in understanding the challenges of parenthood and seeking effective ways to help children thrive. She hopes that offering a more convenient, flexible channel for caregivers of children with special needs can equip them with expert knowledge on child development and evidence-based strategies, so that they can support children overcome challenges and let their strengths shine.
